VOTE FOR GRAHAM

We were delighted when Moy Park Broiler grower Graham McIlroy was awarded the M&S Farming for the Future Award at the Balmoral Show in May this year. He has now gone on to enter the M&S Champion of Champion Awards due to be held in London on 3rd October. Graham converted his two broiler houses in Aghadowey to be one of the most environmentally friendly poultry sites in the island of Ireland! He has also incorporated bio-mass heating, solar panels, LED lighting, rain water harvesting and most recently he changed his electricity supply to Green Energy from Electric Ireland. In addition, Graham installed indirect heating in his two houses which not only saves energy but more importantly creates a much better atmosphere for the birds and promotes excellent litter conditions.
