Accessibility

The Moy Park website has been developed with every effort to conform to at least the W3C accessibility guidelines for Level AA compliance.

Access Keys

We have provided a series of keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse.

The standard UK Government access keys have been partially implemented on this site and are:

0 - Accessibility
1 - Home Page

The following additional access keys can also be used on this site

2 - About Us
3 - Our Corporate Responsibility
4 - What We Do
5 - Our Brands
6 - News
7 - Careers
8 - Contact Us
e - Equal Opportunities
p - Privacy Policy
s - Site Map

To further help remember these keys, please note that links that can be activated by access keys will indicate this by having the key listed in brackets as part of the link or image description.

Access keys are supported by Internet Explorer Version 4 or above and by netscape Version 6 or above. Older browsers do not support access keys and will just ignore them.

Standards Compliance

Moy Park strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, however it may be the case that it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.

Moy Park has endeavoured to ensure that all pages on this site are:

  • XHTML 1.0, validated using the HTML validation service provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
  • Presented using style sheets validated using the CSS validation service provided by the W3C.
  • Compliant with the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), as laid out by the W3C.

Some of the issues cannot be automated, but we, the developers, have read the guidelines and believe that the pages on this site are in compliance.

All pages are device independent.

Visual Design

The site uses relative font sizes that can be changed to suit your preference using the "text size" option of your browser.

All pages are laid out using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

If the style sheets are not used, the content of each page is still readable.

None of the content is dependent on colour alone.
