    I have been part of Moy Parks Innovation and Development team since 2005…a lot of has changed in that time. I am responsible for leading Innovation and Development for one of our strategic customers, and no two days are ever the same! I have the opportunity to work with many departments across our business, taking projects from ideation to launch and making plans for what the future looks like. Moy Park is a great team to be a part of, ever changing and evolving and with a real focus on supporting colleagues to be the best they can be.

    I joined the Moy Park team eight years ago and my role within the company has given me the opportunity to work with the best and most inspirational people in the food industry. I have had the pleasure of working with Jamie Oliver and his team to develop a range of higher welfare chicken. I am also fortunate to work with a diverse range of people who motivate me practically every day. From members of my culinary team who are a constant source of new and exciting ideas through to my colleagues on the factory floor who bring our culinary vision to life. Moy Park is a truly inspirational business. I am extremely proud to work for the company and have the opportunity to continually develop personally and professionally.

    I started at Moy Park as a Graduate Management trainee in 1998 and have never looked back.

    My experience since starting with the business ranges from trainee department manager through to my current role as Director of Operations; with secondments in project management and operations development.

    Moy Park continually invests in its resources; both people and equipment, which makes the company an ideal place to work. There are fantastic training and development opportunities for those individuals who are ready and willing to accept positions of responsibility.

I'm now a Business Unit Leader, so I lead the team to produce the highest quality products for our customers. At the same time, I make sure everyone works together to increase efficiency, which improves our profitability.

    The management at Moy Park are really supportive and encouraging. Whatever your background, you'll have lots of opportunities to develop your career through sheer hard work and commitment. They've definitely invested in me - I've had loads of training over the years and I'm still going on courses!

    I joined the Moy Park GMT programme in 2005 and on completion secured a QA Manager role in Dungannon factory. Currently I lead the Technical and Development team within my respective business unit as a Technical and Development Controller.

    My role involves supporting the team to deliver on set KPI’s, internal stakeholder engagement to communicate the customer agenda and promote innovation. I am also continuously building new relationships with customers to proactively plan ahead. My role is to collaborate with the customer and Moy Park to set and achieve common goals.

    I started at Moy Park as a Graduate Management trainee in 2006 and quickly progressed to the technical manager for Agriculture and I am currently leading the technical department for Agriculture to make sure that the highest technical standards and best practice are met across agricultural sites in terms of bio-security, hygiene, and animal welfare, working closely with Customers/Statutory bodies, consultation, reviewing and implementation of the new legislation and customer standards and Agriculture group policies

    There's an amazing atmosphere here in Moy Park, the interdepartmental communication is excellent and all of the people are really friendly! Since joining the company I have been given lots of training and plenty of opportunities to progress.

    I joined the company in 2004 as a Graduate Trainee within the IT department. I have worked across a range of roles and projects which has given me a broad experience and understanding of the business, which really helps in my current role as a Software Developer. Working in the food industry gives you great exposure and experience working across a variety of business critical systems – ERP, HR and Payroll, EAM, Sharepoint and a wide variety of factory systems. The speed at which our business operates means no two days are the same and there are always challenges that need IT solutions.

    I came to Moy Park as a Graduate Management Trainee over ten years ago and I’m now Hatchery Manager. I oversee day-to-day activities in the hatchery, which produces high-quality chicks for our primary processing factory in Dungannon.

    On a typical day, this involves production planning, incubation, hygiene control, health and safety, personnel management, logistics and dealing with customers and suppliers.

    Moy Park is an excellent company to work for. They're one of the few complete integrators in the industry, so there's the opportunity to develop your career across different areas of the business. The people are great too! My team is really friendly and everyone works very well together.

    No day in the life of a project engineer is ever the same. My day-to-day responsibilities range from installing equipment, such as a new oven or belt in the factory, to overseeing redevelopment work on site. I manage projects from the drawing board (so to speak) to completion.

    For me it's the completion of a project - I love taking a piece of work from the initial concept and making it happen! With new equipment installation I have to factor in factory layout, supply of services, drainage, safety and time scales, whilst ensuring any work I carry out is in line with the day-to-day running of the factory. I have to think of all possibilities to avoid any surprises - even basic things like checking the equipment fits through the doorways! I really enjoy being part of a team.

    I have been working for Moy Park since relocating to the UK in 2015, starting in the Technical Supply Chain before moving on to work with the Breeder and Broiler operations in Agriculture. I am currently working as a brand ambassador for Moy Park in McDonald’s as their Agriculture Coordinator. This role is to support the function of the McDonald's Sustainable Sourcing team and the UK and Ireland Supply Chain Department.

    From the moment I began working for Moy Park I have been given plenty of encouragement and opportunity to, not only better myself, but to improve in a professional capacity as well. Through training courses and apprenticeships, I have been able to expand my knowledge and progress within the company. The team culture is fantastic and I have gained some great friends along the way. My career path within the company has been an amazing journey and I am very proud to be part of the Moy Park team.

    I started my career with Moy Park Beef Orléans in France when it was McKey Food France as HR Director in 2003

    I have moved from HR to Operations in the 2000’s with the great opportunity to redesign Orléans’ factory lines to create a safe environment for our people and to improve efficiency

    Since 2014 I have been given the opportunity to extend my role in HR & Operations to the whole Food Service Division with responsibility for Kitchen Range, AVZ, Hénin, Marquise and Orléans sites.

    An important part of my role is to ensure that our team members understand & live our values and I take time to facilitate workshops with our leaders and team members to explore these.

    I have been able to participate in some excellent development programmes including the opportunity to work and learn with team members in the US, Mexico and Australia. One of the many benefits of working for a large diverse business.

    I started working for Moy Park in July 2017 as a Technical Apprentice, during my time I have worked in supply chain with the specifications team, I have worked within the factory learning the processes from intake through to despatch and then I moved into Technical in February 2018. Despite being based at Grantham I have had the opportunity to work at Anwick and experience primary processing as well as spending four weeks at Henin in France. My most recent role is Quality Assurance Manager predominantly looking at QSR for Line 4.

    As part of my technical apprenticeship I am studying BSc (Hons) Food Science and Technology at Nottingham Trent University on a part time apprenticeship programme.

    Moy Park have always supported both my studies and professional aspirations, there are many opportunities for you to progress and develop your career through the business with a good support network surrounding you.
