Ursula Lavery, Technical and R&D Director Europe, has been appointed as Vice Chair of the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association (NIFDA).
Across Moy Park we contribute to society and our local communities through a range of charitable activities and by participating in initiatives to support the growth and development of our economy. This contribution by Ursula is another example of Moy Park taking action in our community.
NIFDA is a voluntary organisation committed to helping Northern Ireland food and drink companies compete successfully and to represent and promote their interests. It was established to provide services to enhance, promote, inform, educate and develop our members’ business. Moy Park provided leadership and vision as one of the founding members of NIFDA over 25 years ago.
Ursula takes up her role, following a number of years as a NIFDA director, during a pivotal time for the food and drink industry as we seek to continue to grow the sector while navigating our way through the challenges of sustainable growth, climate change, food inflation and supply chain issues.
NIFDA has appointed George Mullan, Managing Director of ABP, as the new Chair of its board, who Ursula will be working alongside during their two year term in office.
