Moy Park Announces New Charity Partner


Leading food company Moy Park will support the Alzheimer’s Society as its official charity partner for the next two years.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity providing information and support to those affected by dementia while working hard to improve care and fund research. Through the partnership, staff will be will be engaged in fundraising, and they will also benefit from raising awareness about supporting people living with dementia.

Welcoming the new partnership, Kirsty Wilkins, Moy Park HR & Performance Director said:

“Dementia has a devastating impact on our society, with over 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia. Alzheimer’s Society works tirelessly to find a cure while also supporting and enabling people to live well and stay connected. The charity has seen increased demand for its services over the past year and have been doing vital work for those who are vulnerable and in isolation. We are looking forward to working together to continue raising awareness of dementia in the communities where we live and operate.”

Amanda McGale, Alzheimer’s Society Community Fundraiser for West NI, Merseyside & Isle of Man welcomed the announcement.

“We are absolutely thrilled with our new partnership with Moy Park, particularly at what is such a challenging time.

"The coronavirus pandemic has been devastating for families affected by dementia and they need us now more than ever, but the pandemic has hit us hard financially, despite an unprecedented demand for our services.

"This money will help us reach and support more people through our vital services.

Moy Park employees will be looking forward to the a variety of fundraising activities available during the year which include virtual quizzes, the annual Memory Walks, and Tough Mudder challenges. The official charity partnership will run in tandem with the company’s other charitable work including its Community Support Fund, and support for a variety of local causes.
