As the school terms comes to a close in Northern Ireland, we are delighted to have played our part in supporting 18 local primary schools through our new Food for Good’ Sports Day initiative.
The programme saw the Moy Park brand sponsor school sports days within the communities it operates, through the provision of branded ‘School Sports Day Kit’, containing bibs, cones, medals for each child in the school and branded t-shirts for teachers.
The Food for Good Sports Day campaign has been a great way for us to further promote an active and healthy lifestyle and support the young people in the communities near our sites.
Barbara McKenzie, Vice Principal at Bush Primary School in Dungannon added, “We would like to thank Moy Park for their generosity in supporting our sports day. It’s been great to watch the children join together and have this experience after having to postpone it for two years. The teachers were thrilled to wear the branded t- shirts and the children loved being able to take home their very own bespoke medal as a memento of the day. It was great to have a company like Moy Park support our school in such a memorable way.”
We are looking forward to visiting schools across the East Midlands.The first stop is Billinghay C of E Primary School, Lincoln.
