Moy Park is calling on ambitious and energetic graduates to apply for its 2016 graduate management development programme, ‘Sprint’.
With opportunities available in various roles across supply chain, production, commercial, marketing, finance, technical, HR and quality, the Sprint programme aims to provide successful candidates with leadership training, personal development and career progression within a major international food company.
Launching the programme, Moy Park’s Head of Talent and Organisational Development, Katharine Strain said:
“The Sprint programme offers graduates accelerated career progression in an exciting, fast-paced industry. The programme has been designed to ensure graduates gain the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the sector and to develop their own career paths in agri-food – whether their interests lie in product development, marketing, finance or any number of other areas – there is a range of stimulating opportunities.”
Through the programme, successful applicants can gain skills in team leadership, personal effectiveness, financial awareness and commercial acumen; with management development modules delivered by leading management consultants. Participants will also take part in a variety of work placements across business areas and receive mentor support from senior management as well as benefiting from a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management.
Katharine added, “As well as providing graduates with great experience and fast track career progression, Sprint provides Moy Park with a platform to develop industry leading talent across the business, helping shape future leaders of the agri-food sector.”
The launch of Moy Park’s 2016 graduate intake follows a recently announced £8m investment in skills growth by the company. The skills programme, which is supported by Invest Northern Ireland, will see training and learning initiatives rolled out across the entire workforce over the next four years.
The application process for Moy Park’s Sprint programme is now open and will close on Friday 18 March. Applications can be made online via www.moypark.com/graduate
