The branch of St Vincent De Paul, which covers the Ballymena, Antrim and Randalstown area highlighted the need for donations has increased considerably in today’s climate and the donations from Moy Park will help aid local people in need.
Mary Waide, Regional President for the North Region commented on the support, “On behalf of St Vincent de Paul I would like to thank Moy Park for the very generous donation. The vouchers provided will go a long way to supporting many families in Antrim and surrounding areas who are being impacted by the current cost of living crisis.”
The donation to the charity builds on Moy Park’s range of existing and long-established community measures, including charity and educational programmes, foodbank donations, and its £1 million Community Support Fund. The company also partners closely with FareShare and has supplied over 45,000 meals over the past six months.
