Environmental Award

Moy Park, one of the UK’s top food manufacturers, has been recognised for its leadership in sustainability and environmental performance at the recent KFC Supplier Awards. The leading food company was presented with the prestigious Environmental Award which is conferred to the KFC supplier that demonstrates outstanding environmental commitment. KFC was particularly impressed that Moy Park has achieved zero waste to landfill status across all 14 of its manufacturing sites and its agricultural base. The company was also commended for investing significant capital in the very latest renewable biomass technology across its farming base. KFC also noted that Moy Park was the first UK poultry company to be acknowledged in the UK’s Corporate Responsibility Index – the UK’s leading and most in-depth voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility.
