Ashbourne Cricket Club has received over £12,000 from Moy Park towards new maintenance equipment.
The club received the grant from Moy Park’s £1 million Community Support Fund which was established in 2020 to support organisations local to its operations across Europe.
Ashbourne Cricket Club is redeveloping its on-site facilities and has purchased a pitch roller and wicket cutter with the funding.
Speaking about the support Chris Whale, Club President said; “We are actively developing the club for the 2021 season, and we are delighted to receive support from Moy Park to help us realise our vision. The club is committed to helping our members build confidence and fitness, while learning about the values of teamwork and respect. We’re grateful to Moy Park for embracing and sharing this ethos and we look forward to unveiling our new premises later this year.”
