Action Cancer’s mobile resource centre, the Big Bus, made a stop at Moy Park’s Craigavon site for the company’s annual ‘Wellbeing Week’ celebrations.
Wellbeing Week takes place at Moy Park’s sites across the UK throughout the year as part of its wider wellbeing programme supporting employee health and welfare.
Action Cancer offered employees at Craigavon breast screening, health checks and advice on leading a healthy lifestyle. Staff could also avail of sports massages and reflexology as well as blood pressure, BMI and glucose levels checks as part of Wellbeing Week activities.
Speaking about Wellbeing Week, Ashleigh Hawthorne, HR Business Partner, Moy Park said;
“Action Cancer’s iconic Big Bus has become a welcomed sight during our Wellbeing Weeks in Northern Ireland. Their expert healthcare professionals provided the Craigavon team with additional advice and health checks on top of our own programme of activity to support physical and mental wellbeing. Wellbeing Week plays a central role in our wider programme of initiatives to support employee welfare and we thank Action Cancer for taking part and showcasing their fantastic range of services.”
