Last weekend (14th - 16th September) we were delighted to once again participate in the 4th Annual Taste Northern Ireland festival hosted by Tesco at Custom House Square, Belfast. The free event which celebrates the finest local ingredients and NI's best food and drink producers was the biggest and best festival to date. Over the two and a half days, hundreds of people stopped by the Moy Park stand to sample our tender chicken goujons and tasty hot & spicy chicken wings; speak to our chefs and quiz them on their favourite cooking and nutritional tips; and check out our new range of products which will be on sale in Tesco NI from October. On Sunday, Aaron Dixon, our Executive Chef took to the Celebrity Cookery Theatre stage to whet the appetites of both foodies and families alike cooking a mouth watering dish of Moy Park chicken breast, stuffed with local Clonakilty black pudding served with carrot puree and bramley apple sauce. Aaron commented "this is a great family event that allows us to showcase the very best of Northern Irish produce. All the ingredients I used in my demo were sourced locally and show that NI produce is of the highest quality. I was delighted to be asked to cook alongside some of the region’s top chefs and was even more pleased with the fantastic response from the audience. So many people were asking questions, I really believe that we are helping to inspire people cooking at home." A great weekend for Moy Park at Tesco’s Taste NI Festival!
