It's Good To Share

Located in the charming town of Whitland, Wales, The Station House is owned and run by passionate publicans Michael and Sue Adams. Having looked after the pub for over 4 years, the couple are proud to boast a wide spectrum of customers, "We find that earlier in the week we have more families and middle aged visitors, and then towards the weekend we tend to attract a younger crowd. We have tried to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, the hub of the community almost!"

With this in mind, Michael has ensured that their menu at the pub has a little something for everyone by offering a wide selection of dishes throughout the day. Like most establishments however, The Station House has many drink-only customers, and wanted something that was quick and easy to prepare to offer these patrons more than the usual crisps or nuts. After recently trialling the new It's Good To Share menu concept from Moy Park Foodservice, which features a truly mouth-watering selection such as the timeless Battered Natural Onion Rings and the deliciously spicy Wings of Fire™, he discovered the ideal solution! Michael commented "The menu worked extremely well for us and the products are great quality! Lots of our customers who would usually just come in for a drink decided to order a platter to share, and we were able to easily offer food at a time when previously sales were quite low."

By whetting his customers' appetites with the attention-grabbing It's Good To Share POS, available to request completely for FREE, Michael was able to drive sales of the platters and increase his profits by an impressive 13% during the trial period! "The POS looked fantastic and worked so well at encouraging sales. The tent cards seemed to work particularly well and looked great on the tables." Also included in the FREE POS kit is an easy-to-understand kitchen guide, giving you top tips on putting platters together, along with product quantities for both 'serves 2' and 'serves 4' options, to ensure that the platters keep both your customers and your till happy!
